I rarely cooked yellow egg noodles. I'm more of a char kuay teow kind of person. I think I can count the number of times I've had it in my kitchen (the yellow egg noodles). I used to hate them due to the fact that some people called it fat noodles. Fat as FAT. But through times, I started to enjoy them. For me, the best way to enjoy this noodle is to fried them Mamak (Malaysian Indian Muslim) style-crisply dried. An epitome of a great comfort food.
There are various ways to make this noodles. My version- I just literally dumped everything inside the wok and stirred them until it's done.
The recipe is based on Bee of RasaMalaysia's Indian Mee Goreng with a slight adjustment to suit whatever I have in my fridge.
Psst..please excuse my teh tarik..No buih.. :P
